LPC Supervision

Now Accepting New LPC Interns

As you begin your journey as an LPC intern, finding a supervisor is one of the most important decisions you will make in your career. I provide a safe, supportive learning environment where you can process your client caseload, your emotions and feelings, and receive clinical feedback.

During supervision, we will explore your internal experience as a therapist. It is important to me that over time you find your own unique style and approach. I want to help you strengthen your therapeutic approach and skills, and also learn to navigate ethical dilemmas.

Experience And Expectations

I received my Master of Arts in Counseling from St. Edwards in 2008. I am also trained in EMDR, levels I and II. I am a Wingspan trained supervisor. Becoming a therapist was a midlife career change for me, and it is a decision I have never regretted. I have a full, successful private practice in South Austin, where I have been practicing for over 7 years.

I am looking for supervisees who are professional, insightful, creative and passionate about this field. As one of my supervisees, there may be an opportunity to see clients in my private practice. You will be responsible for marketing yourself, and the number of clients seen will depend on your efforts.

Supervision Rates

In exchange for my supervisory time, expertise and licensure qualifications, a fee of $300 per month will be billed, and a receipt given for tax purposes. This fee is payable at the first supervision session per calendar month. The fee includes: weekly individual supervision, along with my ability to field inquiries 24/7 having to do with managing any form of crisis that might occur with your clients. I will also give you access to my extensive collection of handouts and lending library resources.
